S&P Messenger Pro Tutorial: Interface Overview (Page 1 of 5)

Messenger Pro utilizes Macromedia Flash ™ technology already installed on your computer. There is no software to install or download. You can access Messenger Pro from anywhere in the world. All you need is a broadband connection and your login information. Messenger Pro will not interfere with other programs you are running.
Session Clock and Current Hour Indicator
Messenger Pro and other PageTrader products display all messages, trades and forecasts in Chicago Time (Central Standard Time GMT -06:00).

The current hour indicator is a quick visual reference of the current market hour the market is trading in (eg. 1st hour, 2nd hour, etc). Each market hour is every 60 minutes from the Market Open. Example: The first hour is 8:30 AM (CST) to 9:30 AM (CST). The second hour is 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM and so on.
Scrolling Marquee
The Scrolling Marquee provides a quick glance of trade status, market commentary and instruction.
Message Dialog Box
Messenger Pro's dialog window delivers a one-way, multimedia market broadcast to your desktop. All trading and session information is provided through this dialog window. Because Messenger Pro is not a chat room, critical trading instructions won't be lost amongst subscriber 'chatter'. All messages are timestamped in Chicago time and delivered on top of previous messages. Each Messenger Pro market broadcast is permanently archived and can be reviewed at any time.
S&P Messenger PRO Icons
Messenger Pro has several market products built in to provide you with the most comprehensive market forecast and trading information available. Within this area you will find the Support / Resistance Panel, Daily Turning Point Calendar, Directional Trend Meter and more.
Visual Trade Indicators
Messenger pro intensively guides you through each suggested trade from start to finish including limit orders, market orders, profit-taking and stop orders. To do this, Messenger pro provides you with two visual trade indicators that provide you with a quick trade status.

For example, the Live Market Order indicator appears when Messenger Pro has placed a limit order (to enter a trade) or has placed a protective stop order (to exit a trade).

The Trade In Progress indicator shows that Messenger Pro is currently in a trade.
Status Bar
The Status Bar displays the number of current messages in the session, any message filters applied (such as the Key Message Filter) and Messenger Pro's current internet Connection Status.
